Beneath the leather exterior, a DuPont™ Kevlar® and steel blend fabric liner rated to ANSI Cut Level A6 delivers high-level cut protection when handling sharp metal edges and fabricated components. Hidden under the leather lies impact-resistant pads, precisely stitched onto this cut-resistant fabric on the back of the hand. These impact-resistant pads help absorb and disperse impact forces from tools, equipment, or accidental strikes, improving overall hand protection in high-risk environments.
The Gunn-cut pattern with a wing thumb enhances natural hand movement and reduces seam stress in high-flex areas, while wide reinforcement beneath the thumb strengthens a critical wear zone exposed to intense gripping and repetitive motion. All seams are fully welted and sewn with DuPont™ Kevlar® thread for exceptional strength and resistance to heat and abrasion.
Inside, a 360° cotton / foam lining provides insulation, comfort, and improved heat protection during extended welding sessions, while the black cotton lining inside the cuff enhances moisture absorption and wearer comfort. With a 14-inch total length, the glove offers extended wrist and forearm coverage against sparks, spatter, and radiant heat.
